Our mission is to undergird the powerful work of Black-led organizations by connecting them to the opportunities, capacity, and space they need to increase their effectiveness and grow independent.
When our vision is realized, Black-led organizations will be strong and sustainable with all of the tools they need to determine and direct social change in their communities.
A NEW MODEL
We are more than a fiscal sponsor.
We are an incubator for Black‑led organizations building, maintaining, and wielding power for social change in their communities.
THE PROBLEM
Traditional fiscal sponsorship often results in lost investments.
As philanthropy is taking notice of the transformative change Black-led organizations are creating, their support is often passed through fiscal sponsors who are neither from the communities served, nor educated about the needs of the organizations in those communities. And, the exorbitant fees they collect result in lost investments for communities in dire need of these resources.

Nafasi Fund is fully committed to helping our partners grow independent (if they desire). We support our partners with all of the resources at our disposal to ensure the success of their initiatives.
