The Atlanta Black Reparative Fund is a restorative and revolutionary fund to disperse money for Black-led solutions in Atlanta.
By 2029, The Atlanta Black Reparative Fund’s footprint will be present across Atlanta’s Black communities via a $10 million investment, disrupting the systemic underinvestment in Black communities by traditional philanthropic institutions. The catalytic fund seeks to disrupt philanthropic redlining by redirecting resources to Black communities, challenging existing power dynamics, and advocating for equitable funding practices. Through targeted investments and advocacy efforts, the Atlanta Black Reparative Fund initiative aims to dismantle barriers to funding and create honest, trust-based philanthropic ecosystems.
This initiative is powered by Nafasi Fund, a fiscal sponsor that provides the 501(c)(3) and audit-worthy infrastructure Black-led organizations need to be eligible for funding that supports transformative work.
